I know that this conversation between Lz Granderson and Rick Welts sparked the entire audience to consider taking the next step professionally to work openly as LGBTQ people. If Rick and LZ have the courage to be fully out in the hyper-masculinized and jock culture world of sports, then what’s stopping the rest of us. It was such an honor to work with everyone involved!
